Vickie died peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Born on November 18, 1948, Vickie was preceded in death by her mother, Sadie McNeely Wilhelm, and her father, Hubert “Hub” Wilhelm. Vickie was a 1967 graduate of South Rowan High School. Vickie worked briefly for Cannon Mills Company in the Sheet Department before volunteering in Kannapolis City Schools from 1979 to 1999. Patricia Eugenia Mullis Kidd, 85, of Kannapolis, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 at the Tucker Hospice House. She was born November 7, 1937 in Mecklenburg County, NC, the youngest daughter of Thomas Lee Mullis and Lena Caudle Mullis.

Lisa loves spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Walter Lee Alvin "Pete" Brown, 91 of Salisbury passed away peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022 surrounded by his children. God granted his prayer to remain in his home where he raised his four children and made many memories with them, as well as his grandchildren and extended family. He belonged to the Northwest Buyers Club and was a past president of the Midwest Apparel Club. Cadence Marie Whitten, 14, of Rockwell, entered into eternal rest November 16, 2022. He attended St. Joseph grammar school, J.G.Whittier grammar school and was a Graduate of Haverhill Trade School, Class of 1965. Mr. Lajoie was employed as a Maintenance Machinist at A T & T and Lucent Technologies for over twenty- nine years. After retirement he worked as a driver for Sarah’s Place.
Larry was born on February 22, 1961 to Darrell and Barbara Garner Foster. He graduated from Harmony Grove High School in Camden, Arkansas in 1979. Larry and Dalenda were looking forward to celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary this spring on an Alaskan Cruise. God’s peace and comfort in the days to follow.

After various jobs from Washington to Arkansas and then to Missouri, Larry made his way to Utah during a Thanksgiving break, visiting a friend in Dragerton. While in Utah, he applied for work at Atlantic Research Company. He later was awarded the job and moved from Missouri to Utah to begin a new chapter in his life. Father Michael Morrisey will officiate the services. Brubaker and Linda Graves, both of Freeport, IL, Janice Townsend of Indianapolis, IN, and Kathy McAuliff of Port Washington, WI, and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all of his remarkable nurses at St. Mary’s Hospital ICU Open Heart for their excellent care.
Bonnie LeQuire, 103, of Kannapolis, NC peacefully passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022, at her home, with her son by her side. A funeral service will be held at 12pm, Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Midway United Methodist Church with Pastor Craig Allen officiating the service. Burial will follow service at Carolina Memorial Park.

Larry was known as N5LDF in his amateur ham held radio community. He spent many hours talking with people all over the world. Larry was the “master” at tinkering around the house on various projects. Larry loved his Goldwing,and Harley Davidson.
There was a sense of caring from each staff member. I was turning over my Mom to their care and I felt very comfortable with everyone. I felt heard and never felt pushed into any decision. We would like to thank all those who supported us during these difficult times. Larry has some very precious friends and family who have been by his side as his body deteriorated. In particular, we would like to extend special thanks to Murray Elliot for his friendship, displayed in such consistent practical ways, week after week, these past months.

Mary Sawyer Hunt, 98, passed away peacefully Oct. 14, 2022, at Hibbard's Skilled Nursing Home. She was born June 6, 1924, the daughter of Edward and Maude Richards. Connie Russell Carey, 92, passed on Nov. 15, 2022.
Larry and Patricia met at Trinity Western University. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in business, Larry and Patricia were married in Kelowna on November 12, 1983. To follow came three daughters, Melissa , Alicia and Ariana . His girls were his greatest delight on earth. His fatherly love and pride will be greatly missed. In his youth Larry enjoyed hockey and was a very accomplished pianist.
